Gillian Anderson's Other Movies

Gillian Anderson will star in How to Lose Friends and Alienate People. Co-starring with her are Jeff Bridges, Kirsten Dunst and Megan Fox. The movie is about a British writer struggling to fit into a high-profile magainze in New York. It's scheduled to be released October 3rd.

Gillian Anderson will also star in the movie No One Gets Off in This Town. It is currently in production and will be released in the UK in 2008. No US release date is available at this time.

Gillian Anderson Expecting

Gillian Anderson is expecting her third child. She has a 13-year-old daughter, Piper, from a previous marriage and a one-and-a-half year old son, Oscar. This will be her second child with boyfriend Mark Griffiths.

David Duchovny's Early Life

David Duchovny was born in 1960 in New York City. His father was Russian and worked as a publicist and writer. His mother was a Scottish immigrant teacher and school administrator. He has 2 siblings, one brother and one sister. Duchovny went to the Collegiate School for Boys and then Princeton University. He has a Master's from Yale and began working on a Ph.D. there, which he has not completed.

Duchovny's early acting career included advertising beer, guest starring in Twin Peaks and narrating/hosting Red Shoe Diaries. In 1993, Duchovny began his role as F.B.I. Special Agent Fox Mulder in the X-Files.

Secrecy Surrounding Movie

There are extreme measures being taken to prevent the leaking of any plot lines according to actor Bill Connolly. "When you get the little script in the morning it's red with black writing and you have to give it back at the end of the night in case people steal it." Connolly refused to comment about his role in the movie. He, along with Amanda Peet and rapper Xzibit will reportedly star as fellow F.B.I. agents with Scully and Mulder.

Gillian Anderson's Early Life

Gillian Anderson was born in 1968 in Chicago, Illinois. Her family moved a short time later to Puerto Rico for a little over a year before moving to London, England. When she was 11 her family moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan. At the age of 17, Gillian Anderson began acting, and when she was 22 she moved to New York. At 24 years of age, Anderson was cast as Dana Scully in the X-Files.

Movie Takes Place Now

The new X-Files movie will take place in the present.  We will pick up with Mulder and Scully not where we left them, but where they would be in 2008.

Scully

I'm an avid X-Files watcher, seen every episode, but I never liked Scully. She was always so rude to Mulder. He was never wrong, and the few times he would remind her saying "In the last 6 years, Scully, how many times have I been wrong?" she would just pout. I always thought Mulder could do better. Any chance of that in this movie?
